Boss of the Turkish military and the commanding generals of the ground, naval and air forces have resigned.

ANKARA – The head of the Turkish armed forces General Isik Kosaner along with the heads of the ground, naval and air forces have resigned, broadcaster CNN Turk reported on Friday, apparently plunging NATO’s second biggest military into disarray.

The reason for the generals’ resignations was not immediately clear, but tensions between the secularist military and the government of Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan have run high in recent years.

Erdogan’s office says the generals are not resigning, but going into retirement.

Look…… Just because the top four generals in the nation resign/retire (get forced out at gunpoint), doesn’t mean there’s a problem.

After all, it’s not as if Turkey is shifting to full-on Shari’a Law faster than Egypt or anyth…… Oh……… Wait…………

Just because The Muslim Brotherhood has repeatedly stated they’re taking over every single Muslim nation doesn…… Oh…… Wait…………

I mean, there’s no danger whatsoever to America’s military bases, personnel and nuclear weapons based in Turk…… Oh…… Wait…………

Turkish armed forces to maintain spirit of unity.

ISTANBUL (Reuters) - The Turkish Armed Forces will continue to do their duty in a spirit of unity, the office of Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said in a statement issued after the military’s top four commanders quit on Friday.

The statement also named gendarmerie General Necdet Ozel, newly appointed as head of the ground forces, as deputy chief of the general staff. It also said a key Supreme Military Council meeting to decide promotions would go ahead as planned on Monday.

The Turkish Armed Forces (under the eye of The Muslim Brotherhood) will continue to do their duty in a spirit of unity (or every single officer and enlisted man will be beheaded in public), the office of Prime Minister (and Muslim Brotherhood senior member) Tayyip Erdogan said in a statement issued after the military’s top four commanders quit on Friday (were told to get out or they’d be dead by Saturday).

The statement also named gendarmerie General (also a senior member of The Muslim Brotherhood) Necdet Ozel, newly appointed as head of the ground forces, as deputy chief of the general staff (and overseer of full Shari’a standards within all military branches). It also said a key Supreme Military Council meeting to decide promotions would go ahead as planned on Monday (with The Muslim Brotherhood deciding who is promoted and serves where).

Again, please remember that The US has a large military presence in Turkey, including ‘special weapons’ units.
