It’s only soccer and you think the sport as a whole ‘doesn’t belong’ in America, nor matter one whit here, right ?

They have a new network called “beIN” and……… an unlimited budget.

Who’s ‘they’ ?

Already carried on DirecTV and Dish Network, they’re ‘talking’ with all the other cable and satellite operators about carrying their broadcasts.

Dang it, who’s ‘they’ ?

Guess.

(AP) — Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo’s league matches will disappear from the television sets of many American soccer fans, starting this weekend.

That’s because the U.S. television rights to Spain’s La Liga have switched from GolTV to the new beIN Sport USA network, launched this week by the Al-Jazeera Sport Media Network…………

The English Premier League (EPL) full television contract expires at the end of this season.

Think ‘big picture’…… No…… Bigger…… NO…… BIGGER.

Soccer, advertising, ‘news’ features, editorial content.   That’s the least of the ‘problems’ about to be dealt with.

Many professional soccer teams worldwide are already owned and/or sponsored by typical Muslim filth.

(AP) — The new beIN Sport network has reached an agreement with Comcast Corp. to be carried on its Xfinity TV.

Owned by the Al-Jazeera Sport Media Network, beIN Sport will be carried in English on the Xfinity TV Sports Entertainment Package and in Spanish on the Xfinity TV MultiLatino Package.   It also will be available to Comcast customers online and some content will be shown on Comcast’s Xfinity On Demand.

Note:  Comcast also owns and operates MSNBC and all NBC properties.

This is not even remotely limited to Al-Jazeera taking rights to broadcast just soccer, nor is it actually about sports, nor even the dreaded ‘follow the money’ pattern.

Command and control.

Nothing less.

You do realize there are one or two other sports around the world, yes ?

Baseball, ‘real’ (American) football, Bassetbawl, hockey.

MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL.

Coming soon to a league office near you: Offers that can’t be refused.

There’s also another thing involved in this new rights deal that will indeed be more immediately noticed.

Is the following snark, or is it reality ?

Within all contracts for beIN on-air personnel (play-by-play, commentators, sideline, in-studio, etc.):

1. It is forbidden to denigrate, or speak negatively of Islam in any manner, shape or form, on-air or off.

2. It is forbidden to denigrate, or speak negatively of Muslims in any manner, shape or form, on-air or off.

3. It is forbidden to denigrate, or speak negatively of any Islamic nation or government in any manner, shape or form, on-air or off.

4. It is forbidden to announce, report or describe victories and/or scoring plays and/or defensive highlights of Jewish sports leagues, teams and individual Jewish athletes, no matter how major or insignificant.   Regarding beIN broadcasted teams with Jewish members:  These teams may be televised, however, Jewish team members are forbidden to be shown on camera, nor are to be discussed in any manner shape or form on-air, unless severely injured or deceased on the field of play, in which case the glory of Allah (PBUH) and Mohammed (PBUH) are to be mentioned.
