This’ll fix it: John McCain is headed to Libya.

A lil’ bit ‘o’ stoooopid was buried deeply amongst the compost and effluent in the overnight news dump.

Washington (AP) – Sen. John McCain, one of the strongest proponents in Congress of the U.S. military intervention in Libya, is heading to the rebel stronghold of Benghazi for a meeting with forces fighting to overthrow Moammar Gadhafi, an aide told The Associated Press.

“For the United States to withdraw our unique offensive capabilities at this time would send the wrong signal,” McCain said.   He said the U.S. must not fail in Libya and said he spoke as someone experienced in a lost conflict, a reference to his time as a prisoner of war in Vietnam.

McCain also has pushed for arming the rebels, saying the U.S. and its partners cannot allow Gadhafi to consolidate his hold on one section of the country and create a military deadlock.

Um…… Yeah.

Let’s see…… Rebels…… Al-Qaeda…… Muslim Brotherhood……

Right.

10…… 9…… 8…… 7…………

Tool up.   It’s coming.   You know…… “It”.

….this is one of the reasons I cannot get behind Sara Palin….she compromised her values and our future by campaigning for this fool. I shudder to think that she gave McCain another 6 years in the senate.

    • Nancy as far as Palin goes, I think she was just naive. I don’t see it as “compromising her values” as much as she probably felt it an honor to be chosen to run for VP and serve the country in a much bigger way

  2. […] I hear John McCain is going to meet with these people today.Below the fold is the latest rage amongst the rebel supporters. A video in which they chant Allahu […]
