Netanyahu Vows To End Violence Against IDF

Sir, there can be only one way……

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu instructed senior security officials to prepare an emergency plan to deal with settler violence against the IDF during an ’emergency session’ of the cabinet on Tuesday.

The meeting was held the morning after a night raid by scores of angry youth on an IDF base in Samaria that resulted in clashes with soldiers and damage to IDF vehicles.   Police reinforcements were required to chase the youth from the base.

“No one can break the law.   No one can raise a hand against the IDF or the police,” Netanyahu said.   “This is the foundation of democracy.   Land of Israel loyalists understand this.   I will not tolerate such destructive behavior.   These small events can spread into a great evil.   I met with the heads of the justice and security systems.   I requested an emergency plan.   This evil must be stopped now.”

Settlers……

Youths……

It applies to all sides.

Send a real message.

Anyone attacks IDF, they’re done.

Finished.

Room temperature.

Pushing up the daisies.

Metabolic processes are history.

Off the twig.

Kicked the bucket.

Shuffled off this mortal coil.

Run down the curtain and joined the bleedin’ choir invisible.

.

Kind of like this:

Former Defense Minister Industry Binyamin Ben-Eliezer says the IDF should have shot to kill youth who raided an IDF base Monday night.

Ben-Eliezer called them “terrorists” and said the IDF had an obligation to shoot at the attackers with live fire.

Likud Knesset Member Miri Regev called on Ben-Eliezer to retract his remarks, but when interviewed on Israeli radio, he reiterated that  the attackers are “a band of criminals who took a block and threw it an IDF commander and almost killed him.” He stood by his remarks to the Knesset committee, where he stated, “It is a shame the army did not shoot.” He added, “When they raid an IDF base, it does not make any difference if they are Arabs or Jews, The attackers have to be eliminated.”

Ben-Eliezer referred to the days before the assassination of former Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin during his comments on radio Wednesday. “I saw murder in their eyes. I was called crazy when I warned that someone would be murdered, but I was right.”
